MBE equipment maker Riber of Bezons, France says that it has signed a new contract for the sale of an molecular beam epitaxy (MBE) production reactor in Asia. The firm did not disclose the name of the recipient.
In addition, Riber forecasts that full-year 2007 sales should now be about €17m (down 15% on 2006’s €20.1m, but level with 2005).
However, with sales negotiations ongoing for several contracts, the firm expects good order flow during first-half 2008, so full-year 2008 revenue should be slightly higher than for 2007 (due mainly to sales of production reactors).
